Feast on the Farm kicks off on Friday 13th October with a special supper club with chef and author Oliver Rowe who starred in BBC2s Urban Chef.
His book, Food for All Seasons – a personal and informative wander through the food year, published by Faber – is out now.
Oliver’s legendary cafe – Konstam and Konstam at the Prince Albert- in London Kings Cross was where his passion for local sourcing and seasonal ingredients began.
Konstam at the Prince Albert, his ultra-local restaurant, featured the BBC series ‘The Urban Chef’. In the series he where sought to source his menu entirely from within the London Tub Map. His travels around London took him as far as Amersham where he met Keith Bennett from Chiltern Farm Food. There began a firm friendship and shared love of great seasonal produce.
He now works on a variety of food projects, including residencies, demos, pop-ups and seasonal supper clubs. Oliver is also a food stylist whose work has appeared in many publications including The Guardian and The Sunday Times.
We are seriously excited to welcome Oliver to yurt to cook for us at his Supper Club on Friday 13th October. The menu can be found here. Tickets are now sold out however you can also see Oliver appear on our chef’s stage on the Saturday of the festival. His will be appearing alongside Keith Bennett of Chiltern Farm Food.
