We are delighted to welcome Hughenden based ‘Chiltern Charcuterie’ to the Farm Shop for a tasting this Saturday 4th July. Their handmade charcuterie range has been flying off the shelves since we started stocking them in May, and the Wild Strawberry Cafe is now introducing a charcuterie board.
Chiltern charcuterie was born in 2014 when Catherine and Ross, two amateur cooks, started making their own bresola and went on various training courses to learn the art of cured meats. The pair source only the highest quality meat from local Buckinghamshire rare breed farmers.
Their current products include: Air-dried Beef (Bresaola) and Lamb, Pancetta, Salami and Chorizo. These are seasonal products that can vary from time to time.
So pop by the Farm Shop on Saturday for a chance to meet the team and sample some truly delicious and really very local charcuterie!
