From Saturday 27th May – Sunday 4th June 2017 it’s English Wine Week, designed to raise awareness of English Wine across the country.
In order to celebrate this wonderful week of all-things-wine, the shop is promoting Chiltern Valley Wines, based in Hambledon in Oxfordshire. This brilliant winery and brewery is a family-run business beginning in 1980, with their production units, shop and wine vats all housed in traditional farm buildings.
Since their first harvest in 1984, they have produced an increasing range of fine, award-winning English wines to delight the eye and excite the palate. With scores of awards and commendations in blind-tasted national and international competitions, their wines have gained an enviable reputation for quality both here and abroad.
To celebrate English Wine Week, we have selected the Chiltern Valley ‘Bacchus’ wine to be our Wine of the Week in the farm shop.
